After spreading from the US to, oh, just about every developed nation in the world, Apple's iTunes Music Store is finally making its way to Canada next month. Rejoice ! I'm very happy because this means I will be able to assuage my conscience re: illegal downloading. I truly mean to buy albums. I do. It's not my fault that there are the Hoobastank's of the world who come out with one catchy song and then want to force you to buy another $10 of crap songs off their albums. Of course, a few key details, like pricing have yet to be announced but I think, all in all, we should herald the arrival of iTunes as a good thing.
It's really sick but I think I have contracted a bit of the Apple/MacIntosh fever that appears to infect new users of Macs. Katie warned me about this ! I won't pretend that Macs are perfect. There are some things they just can't do and they could probably do without at least two of the multitude of option, control, function keys that are integral to getting anything done with your keyboard. Still, form and function-wise, the PC does not rival the Mac in any way. And they're just so pretty !
